Auto Repair Manual - How to read codes (No Special Tools Needed) |

1 Drive vehicle until it reaches operating temperature.
2 Stop the vehicle, place it in park or neutral and turn ignition OFF.
5 The connector will be at the rear of the engine bay on the left or right side. NOTE - Only one code can be accessed at a time, to get the next code close switch for 2 to 4 seconds
6 Press the continue button to enter the code numbers and get the code description(s).

Code Format Description |
|
|
• Each flash codes is represented by straight count. Twenty flashes indicates the code "20".
• Each flash lasts for 0.5 seconds, and there is a 1-second pause between each digit.
• Count the number of flashes in each series, and record the code.
